When I first got my hands on what the Germans call a handy, it blew my mind that I could make (lo-resolution black and white) videos with a phone, now a phone can get high quality panoramic pictures and the world is about to end, so enjoy that.

Gough Whitlam died today. The important difference between this event and his dismissal from the Prime Ministership in the Australian 1970's? There was no CIA involvement. I was eighteen and one of the peak local meatheads had just taken a shit in a neighbour's back yard, holding eye contact with the neighbour the whole time. This was Carrum in the eighties.
